Here are just a few wins that caring and generous people like you helped us achieve in the last year alone:

• Our investigative and legislative work helped free 4,000 beagles from Envigo’s Virginia breeding facility, which kept dogs and puppies in hellish prisonlike conditions before selling them to laboratories.

• We pushed Air France—the last large commercial airline willing to cram crates of terrified monkeys into cargo holds and fly them to their deaths in laboratories—to ban the transport of monkeys. Kenya Airways and EGYPTAIR also stopped flying monkeys after talks with PETA.
• Following decades of hard work, the Big Cat Public Safety Act was signed into law, banning private ownership of big cats and prohibiting public contact with them. This final blow to the abusive big-cat cub-petting industry follows PETA’s virtual annihilation of it through our groundbreaking Endangered Species Act litigation.
