Taking Your Birthday to the Next Level for Animals

PETA staffers go above and beyond to help animals—and not just during regular office hours. PETA Veterinary and Field Outreach Specialist Thomas McNulty is a splendid example. By day, he organizes spay/neuter drives, assists dogs and cats during surgeries and recovery, and builds relationships with the clients of PETA’s mobile clinics to help them meet and exceed their beloved companions’ needs.

Thomas’ birthday was in March, and he took his big day as an opportunity to raise funds for PETA’s life-changing spay/neuter programs. He centered his fundraiser on a two-day clinic in Gloucester County, Virginia, an area visited frequently by PETA mobile clinics that’s close to his heart, and successfully brought in a whopping $3,025. How amazing is that?

Want to make your birthday about something more than just cards and cake? Follow in Thomas’ footsteps by starting your own fundraising effort that can have a big impact on our work for animals.
