NBA All-Star Chris Paul and Grammy Award winner Billie Eilish have brought their talents and compassion together to present a groundbreaking new documentary: They’re Trying to Kill Us.
Produced by Keegan Kuhn (Cowspiracy) and John Lewis (aka “Bad Ass Vegan”) as a follow-up to the award-winning film What the Health, They’re Trying to Kill Us addresses food injustice and food deserts, nutritional and environmental racism, cruelty to animals, the climate catastrophe, and the radical changes needed to build a compassionate society. The film features notable influencers from the fields of hip-hop, medicine, sports, entertainment, policy, and politics—including Ne-Yo, Dr. Neal Barnard, John Salley, Maggie Q, food-justice activist Gloria Ann Begay, and the mayor-elect of New York City, Eric Adams.
What hip-hop artists say, wear, drive, drink, and eat inspires the shopping sprees of millions around the world. Influential artists who adopt a vegan lifestyle can potentially inspire others to help combat the climate catastrophe and chronic diseases, reduce the cost of healthcare, end starvation, and spread compassion.
The film’s creators also want to give back to charitable organizations that share these goals, and they have collaborated with PETA for a first-of-its-kind cooperative film release. From November 11 to 21, when patrons use this link to watch the film, 50% of the profits will be donated to PETA to support our vital work to end speciesism. In addition to this partnership, the creators will donate 100% of their sales to charity, up to the first $1 million raised!
Don’t wait another moment. Watch this groundbreaking documentary before midnight on November 21 to support PETA and a team of filmmakers who are working to end injustice in all its forms.
