Joaquin Phoenix Documentary ‘Gunda’ Is Now on Amazon Prime!

Joaquin Phoenix has done it again. After producing What the Health in 2017—a film that inspired countless people to go vegan—the compassionate actor and filmmaker has teamed up with director Viktor Kossakovsky to bring the world another powerful and hard-hitting documentary: Gunda.

The black-and-white cinematic experience offers its audience a profound and up-close look into the lives of a mother pig, a flock of chickens, and a herd of cows. Watch as pigs drink falling rain, chickens solve problems, and cows jump for joy.

The New York Times calls this meditative film “an intimate, exquisitely beautiful look at animal life.”

If you didn’t catch Gunda in theaters, you’re in luck! It’s being released today on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, and across digital service providers. Share this beautiful film with your friends, family, and anyone who still needs to be convinced that animals are individuals.
