Just one of our recent investigations—into a facility that bred beagles for use in experiments—resulted in the abusive operation’s closure and the surrender of the thousands of dogs there, who have since been put up for adoption.

PETA’s scientists use it to develop and promote modern, human-relevant research methods, including the creation of the first-of-its-kind, three-dimensional model to study the effects of chemicals on the deepest part of the human lung, sparing thousands of animals use in cruel tests.
