WATCH: Two Animal Advocates Share Why PETA Is in Their Estate Plans

To commemorate National Estate Planning Awareness Week (October 17 to 23), we asked two of our Augustus Club members, Niloofar Asgharian and Reichen Kuhl, to share why they felt compelled to include a gift to PETA in their estate plans, which will continue to support animals and animal rights long after they’re gone. Watch their video testimonials below:

National Estate Planning Awareness Week is a great time to ensure that your plans are in place and that everyone you love will be protected far into the future. It’s important that you prepare for yourself, your animal companions and other loved ones, and the charitable causes that matter most to you. PETA offers several free resources to help you put your estate plans together, including our Animal Companion Planning Packet, which discusses how to secure the future of your animal companions when you’ll no longer be able to care for them. We have also partnered with FreeWill to help PETA supporters create an estate plan online for free.

When you designate PETA as a beneficiary of your will, trust, or financial account, your legacy of compassion will help keep our work for animals going strong. And right now, during our Legacy of Kindness Challenge, when you notify us that you’ve included PETA in your estate plans, you’ll unlock an immediate gift of $1,000 for animals at no cost to you!
