A few weeks ago, we had the incredible opportunity to sail on the Holistic Holiday at Sea, a one-of-a-kind all-vegan cruise bringing together people who care deeply about compassion, health, and living, or are interested in a vegan lifestyle. The cruise, which sailed through the Caribbean from March 1–8, 2026, is known for its fully vegan meals, wellness activities, and educational talks by leaders in the vegan health movement, such as Dr. Neal Barnard and Dr. Michael Greger.

While the food, ocean views, and inspiring speakers have all been amazing, one of the most meaningful moments for us was hosting a PETA meetup right on the ship.
Being surrounded by so many people who care about animals created the perfect opportunity to gather fellow advocates together. Our meetup brought animal lovers, longtime PETA supporters, and curious cruisers into one space to connect, share stories, and celebrate our shared passion for compassion.
There was something really special about meeting other people who understand why kindness toward animals matters so deeply. Conversations ranged from activism and vegan living to personal journeys and what first inspired people to stand up for animals.
Cruises are often about relaxation and adventure, but this moment reminded us that they can also be about community and purpose. Watching a group of strangers come together over a shared love for animals and PETA—while sailing across the Caribbean—was truly inspiring.
The meetup wasn’t just a gathering. It was a reminder that wherever we go, whether on land or at sea, the movement for animals continues to grow. And sometimes, all it takes is bringing people together to spark new friendships, ideas, and motivation to keep advocating.

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us. Compassion travels well—and apparently, it travels beautifully by cruise ship too.
