Vegan and Cruelty-Free Finds From Natural Products Expo West

Natural Products Expo West is one of the largest gatherings of animal-free, sustainable, and better-for-you brands, bringing together thousands of companies and innovators who are shaping the future of conscious consumerism. It’s always an incredible opportunity to discover new products, connect with partners, and see firsthand how the movement toward cruelty-free, vegan living continues to grow.

This year, we spent time visiting some of our PETA Business Friends and like-minded brands who are making a meaningful impact. Here are a few standout highlights from the show:

AGRO – We stopped by to visit our friends at AGRO Power Sticks. After sampling food and drinks all day, it was the perfect time for a high-protein, low-sugar pick-me-up. With 10g of protein per stick, 40% less sodium than the leading animal-based snack sticks, and none of the saturated fat, this was easily one of my favorite finds at Expo. Delicious, satisfying, and completely vegan.

Dr. Tung’s – Expo West was full of incredible vegan food, but it was also great to see beautiful, cruelty-free, non-toxic brands like longtime PETA Business Friend Dr. Tung’s. We stopped by to chat and picked up one of their toothbrush protectors. It shields your toothbrush from airborne germs while a blend of natural oils like lemon, lime, peppermint, tea tree, and thyme helps keep the bristles clean, fresh, and hygienic.

The Wild Party Podcast – We also got to meet Stefanie LaHart, founder and host of the Wild Party Podcast. It is always inspiring to connect with mission-driven entrepreneurs who are working to create a kinder world for animals. Stefanie uses her platform to spotlight entrepreneurs in the vegan, clean tech, and eco-friendly spaces, diving deep into the “why” behind their purpose-driven businesses.

100% Pure – It was great to reconnect with 100% Pure, a past PETA Business Friend and a brand I trust completely. All of their products are PETA-certified cruelty-free and never sourced from animals. They pioneered fruit-pigmented makeup and continue to lead the way with clean beauty products made with high-quality ingredients and free of toxins and harsh chemicals.
