A Sneak Peek at PETA’s ‘Not Your Usual Animal Rights Conference’ Classes

July is already upon us, and not only is Independence Day just around the corner—so is PETA’s “Not Your Usual Animal Rights Conference”!

Are you ready to jump-start or reinvigorate your activism? Maybe you’re wondering what you can do to help end speciesism?

We hope you’ve already registered to join us virtually on Saturday, July 10, and Sunday, July 11—but even if you haven’t yet gotten your tickets, we’d like to offer PETA Prime readers a preview. Here’s a taste of just four of the 18 engaging classes that will be available:

  • Binge-Watch With a Purpose: How You Can Be an Effective TV and Movie Critic, presented by Lisa Lange, PETA’s senior vice president of communications
  • Discover Your Superpower: You Can Stop Animal Tests!, sponsored by M+R, presented by Shalin Gala, PETA’s vice president of international laboratory methods
  • How You Can Be the One to Pull the Plug on SeaWorld and Other Marine Prisons, sponsored by Mal Warwick Donordigital, presented by Dr. Heather Rally, PETA’s supervising veterinarian of Captive Animal Law Enforcement
  • Surprising Ways to Stop the Pet Pimps in Your Town, presented by Daphna Nachminovitch, PETA’s senior vice president of cruelty investigations, and Dan Paden, PETA’s vice president of evidence analysis

Much more is in store. Of course, we hope you’ll choose to attend all the classes—you never know what you might learn. And don’t worry—if you’re unable to join a session, registered attendees will have access to recordings of every class and all course materials after the conference.

In between classes, you can visit the conference’s Vendor Village to interact with exciting cruelty-free companies and browse their booths. Registered attendees will gain access to exclusive deals from fashion, food, beauty, and wellness companies, including Wuxly Movement, Nuzest, LBLC the Label, Sweet Freedom, Doshi, Fake Meats, Mayd In Chyna, and Catherine Goolsby.

Don’t wait! Register now for this stimulating and powerful event that will fortify your beliefs and strengthen your work to counter speciesism.
