New Site Makes It a ‘Snap’ to Support PETA’s Work for Animals

Why do you do what you do for animals?

With Csnaps, an innovative new fundraising platform that we’ve partnered with, you can share your story and inspire others while raising money to support PETA’s vital work for animals.

Longtime supporter and rock ‘n’ roll icon Tommy Lee has already gotten on board by posting his own “Inspirie”— a campaign for PETA that’s raising money right now.

Starting your own campaign is a … ahem … snap: Visit Csnaps.org or download the app, post an Inspirie by writing your story, upload a video or photo, and make a donation. Your Inspirie post will appear in the site’s Gratitude Lounge, where visitors will see it—and be inspired. If you post it on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, your followers can click a link directing them to the site.

You can even support PETA by posting a “Fan Csnap” photo of you with Tommy Lee or another animal-friendly celebrity.

Let’s say you run into Tommy on Sunset Strip—hey, you never know, right? If it’s cool with him, just launch the app, snap a Fan Csnap (selfless selfie), and purchase the photograph with a donation going to PETA. Posting it on social media not only earns you serious bragging rights but also can encourage your friends and family members to take a cue from you and get on the giving train, too.

Now, back to the first question: Why do you do what you do for animals?

PETA’s Community Animal Project

Maybe you were moved to help when PETA’s rescue team returned from Louisiana with dozens of cats and dogs who were displaced by last year’s floods or were inspired by our straw-delivery program, which supplies bedding, food, toys, and TLC to dogs who are forced to live outdoors. Maybe you grew up with an animal companion who still holds a special place in your heart.

Sharing your Inspirie story on Csnaps can help even more animals. Your friends and family are waiting to hear all about it.
