Being PETA’s Sexiest Vegan Over 50 is a wonderful way to speak out for the animals and vegan cooking, as I did on a local TV station! I even had a feature in the Sacramento News & Review. My whole purpose was to have just another way to give a voice to the animals. Meeting a most compassionate man, Roger Ewing, was also very special. We were both so lucky to be on the Jane UnChained video. We were also able to go to the PETA L.A. building and meet many PETA employees, which was the vegan cream on top!

The opportunity to be recognized by PETA was a wonderful experience. Compassion for all living beings is a prerequisite for bringing peace to all human beings. Until the animals are free to live their lives in harmony with humans, our civilization will not reach its full potential. The title of Sexiest Vegan Over 50 gave me a unique opportunity to promote the benefits of plant-based nutrition and cruelty-free living to a great many people on television, in newspapers, and on social media. I am grateful to everyone at PETA for supporting me in my role as spokesperson for all the sexy vegans out there.
