5 Ways PETA Is Helping Animals in Laboratories This Week

  1. PETA is calling for a federal investigation into the University of Washington’s Washington National Primate Research Center after uncovering documentation showing 255 worker safety incidents—many of which also impact or harm the monkeys imprisoned there.  
  2. PETA is urging the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to stop funding MRIGlobal, a contract testing laboratory that receives millions in taxpayer dollars.  
  3. Carlos Del Toro, secretary of the U.S. Navy, refuses to stop bankrolling the service’s use of animals in painful and pointless decompression sickness and oxygen toxicity experiments—and PETA is speaking out against his negligence.
