Veterinary Professionals: PETA’s Mobile Clinics Division Is Hiring!

Do you want to work in a veterinary setting and help combat the homeless-animal crisis at the same time? Good news: PETA’s Mobile Clinics Division is hiring!

We’re currently looking for exceptional candidates for our veterinary assistant, Virginia licensed veterinary technician, and client services representative positions based in Norfolk, Virginia. PETA is also looking for a veterinary assistant, a Virginia licensed veterinary technician, and a client services representative for our facility in Ashland, Virginia.

For more than two decades, PETA’s mobile clinics have been spaying and neutering hundreds of animals each week, providing underserved communities in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina with vital veterinary services. Animals treated on the clinics also include dogs and cats PETA’s Community Animal Project staff meet in the field and transport to and from their surgery appointments free of charge.

Senior pup Goldie’s family called PETA for help when she was suffering from a life-threatening uterine infection. We performed an emergency spay surgery—free of charge for her thankful family.


Sweet little Brandon was transported to and from his neuter appointment, free of charge for his loving guardian.
